I just read this amazing article in Wired about these two dudes who broke the record for the Cannonball Run, which is the journey from New York City to Los Angeles. They were inspired by C’etait un Rendez-vous, in which Claude Lelouch drives his vehicle at a maniacal pace, driving through 16 red lights and reverse down one way streets. The whole story is amazing, primarily because it is an epic, death defying journey that is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL.
